Owning your own pets may be calming and even be helping one's well being. To me, there are many reasons for that: we tend to care for the animals, show respect, love them and we may even talk to them.
This may give us positive relationship signs that make us feel happy inside ourselves and and also may provide a sense of emotional stability. Domestic animals like dogs, cats and birds are the favorite ones that most people like to have at home. It is also fun naming them.
Myself , the names my parents used for their dogs was 'Bobby, Rusty, Cindy and Kora' Interesting names? I still remember each one of them as if there were here with me today. I haven't had a dog for over 29 years until recent and yes I do miss them. I've had pigeons, budgies, canaries, tropical fish and cats. I even remember I had a lizard tank. In my growing younger years, it improved my well being. I had pets to care as well as parents tendering to myself.
What's you r experience with pets?
